I am a mom of two, a yoga instructor since 2008, and a Salsa Babies instructor since 2014. I became a yoga instructor not only for the physical health benefits but to help people improve their mental and emotional health as well. My training included various special populations including pre- and post-natal modifications but I know my classes were transformed when I became a mother myself. I was well into my first pregnancy when I really understood how necessary yoga was to helping me remain balanced on every level. I believe that yoga is for every body and that modifications can always be made to ensure you enjoy and get the maximum benefit from each and every class.
My first career was as a Registered Social Service Worker working primarily in Mental Health services with children, youth and families.
