This is not your regular “prenatal yoga” class! While other program focus solely on stretching and strengthening, our unique program is designed to give you tools for labour and birth. With a central focus on the spine and creating space in the body, we will practice gentle poses, dynamic movements and breathing techniques that you will be able to tap into in late pregnancy and during labour. During the class, we will encourage discussion and will be able to tailor the practice to your issues and concerns. Through the practice of yoga, our goal is to bring awareness to your changing body and to help create confidence in that body as you head towards birth. This class is designed with safety in mind and we will encourage every student to work at their own pace and comfort level. No yoga experience necessary.
